Why approval is the control point

Language models are fluent by construction, which means a draft can be confidently wrong and still read well. Fluency is not evidence of accuracy, so the review step has to check facts rather than tone.

Campiqo requires explicit human approval on every campaign draft and records who approved it and when. The checklist below is what that approval should actually involve.

1. Verify every factual claim

Check each specification, capability and compatibility statement against the product record. Anything not traceable to the record should be removed, not softened.

  • Specifications match the source record
  • No invented certifications, awards or customer counts
  • No performance figures without a verifiable source
  • Pricing and availability are current

2. Check claim safety

Regulated categories constrain what can be said and to whom. Comparative claims about competitors need evidence and a date. Superlatives usually need removing.

3. Confirm audience fit

Read the draft as the recipient. Does the opening line make sense to the role receiving it? Is the trigger plausible for this segment right now? A well-written message sent to the wrong role is still a failed campaign.

4. Check compliance basics

Confirm lawful basis for contacting the audience in its jurisdiction, that identification and unsubscribe requirements are met, and that suppression lists were applied. These are delivery-platform responsibilities, but the reviewer should confirm they are in place before approving.

5. Record the decision

Approval, rejection and edits should all be recorded against the draft. Over time that record is what lets a team see which kinds of generated copy need the most correction, and adjust the inputs rather than the output.
